Planning a Trip to Universal Orlando

For the first time in the fifteen years that my family has been vacationing in Florida, we are not going to Disney World or any of their Central Florida attractions. Due to the price increases and the disappearing perks that have been happening at the House of Mouse, Disney has become too expensive for my family’s budget.

This year, my family will be heading to Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove. Years ago we would visit Disney, Universal and SeaWorld until about ten years ago, the theme parks changed their price structures for tickets so that it became unaffordable to be able to do all three parks for only two to three days each.

We have all of our ducks in a row and we will compare a Disney vacation (we last visited in July 2021) to a Universal vacation. We will be posting images, blog posts and video to this page, as long as other pages that I manage… DisneyDawgs, Theme Park Florida and Universal Orlando News. We will be doing comparison and impressions blogs as well as videos of the good, the bad and the “You’ve got to be kidding me!!!” during and after the trip.
